No soccer without beer!

Fuzzy picture, but you get the point - a cooled camelbak for serving beer to thirsty soccer fans. Got to get me one of those...

Soccer in Yokohama

Watching a soccer game in Yokohama with Mathias and Tommy. It´s the Japanese league teams, Iwata vs Yokohama. Iwata kicked their butts! (well 1-0). Both teams would match any swedish "Allsvenskan" team.

Last minute Midsummer celebration...

...was put togheter by the reiseleiter Irina. " Around the sound" was the theme! We started off by taking the train from Lund and picking up some people in Malmö.

Then a stop in Copenhagen for a beer break and pick up of Nadja!

The celebration location was reached, Louisiana museum in Humlebäck! Picknick in the museum park by the beach, strawberry/chocolate cake, a lot of wine and snaps...some american fotball, down the hill rolling Danes...hmm...and yes we did manage to see the Cézanne exhibition too! ;) http://www.louisiana.dk/

Back to Sweden by the boat via Helsingborg! Great dinner and portwine at our last destination!

Clara, our hostess for the week in NY and her boyfriend Scott!

Things we love about New York City

Chicago on Broadway, the Bodies Exibition in South Port, Guggenheim... there is always something to see in NY!

Great reastaurants (especially Pearl for the lobster roll, Serendipity and Saint Ambrose for the deserts) and even better the company of some hard core New Yorkers who know all about where to go and what to do!

Vintage shopping in Brooklyn! Beacon's closet rocks! And that is just a small portion of how much shopping was actually done during this one week NYC visit! ;)

Central Park, an oasis in a very crowded and busy city!

The Hudson River Park, two blocks from Clara's apartment, the perfect morning hang out!

Pedicures and manicures at Brush in West Village!

Staying in West Village, Manhattan! After walking a LOT all over the Manhattan, the West Village won as the favorite part of the city. Lots of restaurants, shops, cute streets, very European feel to it all.

The Samuelsson siblings! All seven of them!
The Plicanics, few of the them!

Last two weeks have been real busy, in a very good way! The National Day long weekend was all about Ola's sister's wedding! Beautiful weather, beautiful wedding, beautiful couple! Fun garanteed!!!
